Injuries and transfer news before AC Milan game

Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial could return to the Manchester United group for the rematch of the round of 16 in the Europa League against Milan. The two strikers missed the game against West Ham, which the Red Devils won 1-0 with an own goal by Craig Dawson. Martial suffered a thigh injury during the first match with Milan last week, and Cavani has been battling an injury for almost a month.
“It is very likely that Cavani and Martial will recover for the match with AC Milan. The same goes for Donny van de Beek, who is almost ready after an injury treatment,” United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told a news conference. Star goalkeeper David De Gea is also returning to the squad after briefly returning to Spain to be close to his girlfriend for the birth of their first child.
Ex-United defender Marcos Rojo says he has been in touch with Edinson Cavani amid speculation surrounding the striker’s Manchester United future.  Cavani’s current contract at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of the season, having joined United on a one-year deal last summer.  And a quick special thanks to OnlineCasinoSnoop.com for providing much needed help with this article. There is an option to extend the Uruguay international’s contract by a further 12 months but it remains unclear whether that will happen.
Manchester United have made Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland their summer priority amid mounting competition for the 20-year-old. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and new football director John Murtough have agreed Haaland would be the perfect long-term replacement for Romelu Lukaku after failing to sign him from RB Salzburg last season. Haaland is arguably the most in-demand footballer in the world.
Donny van de Beek wants to leave the club, the Daily Star reports. The Netherlands international only joined for £35m in the summer, but having started just two Premier League games this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Van de Beek wants to look elsewhere at the end of the season. Van de Beek fears he has no long-term future amid reports Solskjaer never wanted to sign the player.
Paul Pogba is recovering successfully from a thigh injury and may also be in the group. “Paul can be in the group for the match with Milan, David will also be with us. We are going to Milan with a strong team. We need these players because we want to improve our performance compared to last season. A very important week is ahead for us, “Solskjaer added.
If Paul Pogba is to leave Old Trafford this summer, United will attempt to sign Eduardo Camavinga, reports AS.  Camavinga, currently at Rennes, is just 18-years-old, although Real Madrid and Chelsea are also claimed to be interested in securing the midfielder’s services.  It is believed Rennes would demand at least £50million for such a transfer.
United secured a 1-0 win over West Ham at Old Trafford to retake second place in the Premier League and further boost their hopes of Champions League qualification.  That win closed out a big week for United after beating Manchester City 2-0 last Sunday before drawing the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie with AC Milan 1-1 at home on Thursday.
